My Beach Litter
The amount of plastic which is washed up on our beaches really horrifies & scares me - if there's this much on the beach , how much is floating in the sea causing damage?
Not only does it get consumed by birds & animals but also the chemicals in the plastic leak out into the seawater. Some of it comes all the way across the Atlantic from America.
A brilliant film called Wrecking Season by the late Nick Darke is available on DVD & well worth watching if your'e into beach litter.
I decided to do something useful with the bits of plastic I was picking up & these are the results. Surfers Against Sewage also bought some of my designs & some funky clothes & cards are available from their website. SAS
